F1 IN SCHOOLS
The F1 in schools competition is an International STEM initiative aimed in promoting engineering to students aged 9-19 years old. Each team is tasked with making a C02 powered car that races down a 20 metre track. As part of the competition teams must find sponsorship and market their teams. Part of the F1 in schools vision is to inspire students to enter the field of engineering and set them up with the skills required to join those fields.
The team placed 1st in this years East Anglia Regional Final scoring 840/910 and winning the Best Engineered Car and Fastest Car
Due to winning the East Anglia Regional Final the team is moving onto the National Final. This year it is being hosted at Airbus, Chester. The home of the mighty Airbus A380
